Love understanding how things work? And helping other people out? Then this is for you. You’ll help people use tech well, so they can do their job well.
You need an employer who has offered you a role as an apprentice to do this programme.
What is the Job Like?
Infrastructure technicians help people to use technology well, so they can do their job well.
You’ll do lots of different things – set people up on systems – help people when they need it – problem solve issues and fix problems.
You’ll work with other people – so, you’ll be good at communicating, and listening to instructions. And most importantly – be a great team player.
You’ll have lots of different tasks to complete – so you’ll need to manage your time wisely. You’ll also have to make some decisions – know when to use your head, and know when to ask for help.
If you’re curious – enjoy getting to the bottom of things, and understanding how they work. And, if you love working step-by-step – this is for you.

Am I eligible?
You need to have:
- Three GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4 or above in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade 3 and above
